The Senior Accountant in the Controllership Group is responsible for ensuring the accounting needs of our clients are met while providing outstanding service.  Detailed responsibilities include:

  • Month-end close journal entries
  • Account reconciliations and financial statements
  • Accounts payable management and vendor payments
  • Payroll processing and journal entries
  • T&E processing and payments
  • Review of work completed by variable staff
  • Audit assistance
  • Special projects including general ledger re-mappings, budgeting/forecasting, system implementations, new client onboarding and other ad hoc client requests

The Senior Accountant may be expected to perform the following core responsibilities:

  • Produce consistent, high quality deliverables for clients
  • Apply appropriate attention to detail to work product
  • Utilize critical thinking skills to understand the downstream impact of certain transactions/processes/systems
  • Possess critical organizational skills
  • Facilitate calls with clients/external third parties
  • Take ownership of multiple engagements, managing both upward and downward expectations for timelines


The Senior Accountant must have a minimum of five years of experience in general ledger roles, preferably in a client service capacity. In addition, the Senior Accountant will possess:

  • An understanding of U.S. GAAP;
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills;
  • Strong written and oral communication skills;
  • Ability to manage multiple projects;
  • Enthusiasm for self-education and research;
  • Desire to be a client’s “go-to” person for all accounting questions/needs;
  • Ability to be roll up your sleeves to tackle most pressing issues, but also have an entrepreneurial, big-picture mindset;
  • Be intellectually curious, detail oriented, a self-starter, ethical, dependable;
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
